Visit the current blog

Although this blog is active and I will answer questions as I receive notification of a post, I highly recommend you visit the "content" blog that is attached to my Aviation Trainer web site. You will find study material, videos, etc. I update the material whenever I can find a spare minute.

A few quick questions from a soon to be flight student:

1. How long is flight training (from end to beginning), and will I be at Fort Rucker for the entirety?

2. Would anyone recommend trying to knock out some of the in-processing prior to showing up for BOLC-B?

Thank you so much for the help,

-Bill

Hi Bill,

The length of flight school depends entirely upon which advanced aircraft you end up with and what the "bubble" is for that aircraft. Although the wait time is a lot less than it has been in the past couple of years, it can still be several weeks to months. You will, however, be at Ft Rucker for all of your flight training.

As far as in-processing and BOLC-B, I have no idea. The flow changes every five minutes down here.

So does this mean you won't be updating this blog anymore?

The things that the aviation schools in Louisiana have done to get students amazes me. Keep up the great work. I really appreciate it.
